Ball screws are precision mechanical components assembled, so the following precautions should be taken when using them:

(1) Because the friction of the ball screw is very small, if the screw is placed vertically without preloading (even micro preloading), the nut will fall off the screw shaft due to its own weight. Therefore, please be extremely careful when using it vertically. If the nut falls off the screw, the ball will fall off. In addition, there is a risk of damage to the ball circulation parts such as the circulation conduit. If the nut falls off the screw, please contact the after-sales technical personnel.

(2) Due to the protruding circulation part (circulation guide, end cover, etc.) of the ball screw nut on the outside of the nut, please be careful not to knock or collide.

(3) Please do not apply radial load or torque load directly to the ball screw. If there is radial load or torque load, it will greatly reduce the service life of the screw or cause the screw to run smoothly.

(4) Install collision protectors at both ends of the screw to prevent damage to the ball screw due to exceeding the stroke limit during operation.

Arc spiral grooves are machined on the screw and nut, and when they are assembled together, a spiral raceway is formed, which is filled with balls. And the ball rolls along the raceway and undergoes a cyclic motion through the return tube.
